A single nightly seating. Fish brought to its quietest, truest expression, one piece at a time, set before you by the hand that made it.

Sora means sky. We named the counter for the feeling of a meal with nothing held back and nothing in the way, only the season, the rice still warm, and the quiet between one course and the next.

THE OMAKASE

We choose, so you can simply be here.

There is no ordering. Each evening follows the market and the chef’s hand, opening with small seasonal bites, moving through a procession of nigiri at its peak, and closing with soup and something sweet.

THE COUNTER

Eight seats. One chef. Two hours.

The room is small on purpose. From your seat you can watch the rice being pressed, hear the knife find the grain, and talk with the chef as the night unfolds at the pace of a conversation, never a rush.

BEFORE YOU COME

A few quiet notes.

Seatings.

One nightly, Tuesday through Saturday. Arrive ten minutes early so we can begin together.

Pace.

Roughly two hours. The kitchen sets the rhythm; please plan your evening around the full progression.

Dietary.

We adapt the menu for most needs with notice. Share anything we should know when you reserve.

At the counter.

No fragrance, please, and photos between courses only. The fish is best the moment it is set down.
